As an Integrative Psychotherapist & Counsellor I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space for individuals to explore their possibilities and choices, with the aim of becoming agents of change in their own lives.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in existential and relational psychotherapy, and I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe in working collaboratively and at your pace, creating a space where you can reflect, feel heard, and begin to make sense of your experience.

My practice includes working with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, identity, relationships, loss, and life transitions. Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I worked in the fashion industry for over 24 years, including 12 years running my own business.

This background gives me an in-depth understanding of the creative industries and generally high-pressure, fast-paced environments they often involve. This experience continues to inform my understanding of the clients needs, especially in helping clients explore questions of identity, self-worth, performance, and purpose.I’ve worked in private practice and with individuals living with HIV and long-term illness. I offer both face-to-face and online sessions to suit your needs.

My
Approach

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet each individual’s unique needs. My approach is always guided by what the client requires, ensuring that the pace and focus of therapy are tailored to their personal journey.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to fostering meaningful change, and I work at a pace that is comfortable for each individual. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you are returning, I aim to guide you through the process of understanding your lived experiences in a way that feels empowering.

I hold an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling (Existential) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling. I’m a registered member of the BACP.

Existential
Relational
Existential psychotherapy is a form of therapy that focuses on exploring the fundamental issues of human existence. It is rooted in existential philosophy and addresses themes like meaning, choice, freedom, isolation, death, and responsibility. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses, existential psychotherapy looks at the client's overall experience and how they relate to life's inherent challenges.
In existential therapy, the focus is not necessarily on "curing" or "fixing" but on helping clients gain insight into their lived experience and take meaningful steps towards living more fully and intentionally.
Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a form of psychotherapy that views the mind as composed of different "parts," each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles within the individual's mental landscape. IFS aims to help people understand and harmonize these parts, leading to greater self-awareness, healing, and emotional balance. It is a non-pathologizing approach that sees every part of the self as valuable, even those that may seem harmful or maladaptive.

Overall, IFS offers a way for individuals to understand and heal their inner worlds, fostering internal coherence, emotional healing, and greater self-awareness. It views the psyche as a system of protective parts, with the aim of helping individuals lead their lives from a place of self-compassion and balance.

Relational psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that emphasises the importance of relationships, both past and present, in shaping a person's emotional and psychological well-being.
It is based on the understanding that human beings are inherently relational, and the quality of our connections with others plays a central role in how we understand ourselves and our experiences.
Somatics

Somatic therapy, or somatic experiencing, is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between the mind and body to address emotional and psychological issues. It is based on the idea that traumatic experiences, stress, and unresolved emotions are often stored in the body, leading to physical tension, pain, or other health issues. Somatic therapy helps individuals become more aware of their bodily sensations and physical responses as a way to release stored trauma, alleviate stress, and promote healing.

Interpersonal Therapy

Focuses on the connections between our relationships and our emotional wellbeing. It helps people understand how their interactions with others affect their mental health and supports them in making positive changes in how they relate to others. Rather than looking deeply into past experiences or unconscious processes, IPT focuses on what is happening in your life right now—particularly in your relationships. In therapy, you'll explore current patterns, identify areas of difficulty, and develop new strategies for communication and connection.

Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, coping with emotional distress,

or seeking personal growth therapy can be a powerful step
